Per Oregon’s COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement for Teachers and School Staff (Oregon Administrative Rule 333-019-1030), all individuals who volunteer in person will be required to provide proof of vaccination or a district-approved medical or religious exception before volunteering in a Salem-Keizer Public Schools school, facility or activity.

For the 2022-23 school year, volunteer opportunities will be limited.

Previously approved volunteers who wish to volunteer in person will need to submit their COVID-19 vaccination documentation or an exception request through the link that was previously emailed or by showing their proof of vaccination to school staff.

Volunteers who are not vaccinated against COVID-19 or do not have a district approved medical or religious exception and individuals who do not wish to share a copy of their COVID-19 vaccination documentation may not volunteer in person.

You can use our online webform to submit a criminal history check. The online process is secure, and only authorized district staff will see the results. The online submission form is the preferred method.

A paper criminal history check form may be submitted (available in several languages), however the clearance process can take several weeks.
