Valley Inquiry has several spots open for 6th Grade this Fall. Notices were mailed to all eligible students living in the Salem-Keizer boundary areas in early July with a deadline for applications being on Sunday, August 1st.
Already, we have over 35 applications for the spots we have available, which means we must conduct a randomized lottery to fill our open spots (in accordance with Oregon Public School Charter law).
If you are interested in applying for one of our open 6th Grade Middle School spots, please ensure you submit your application by Sunday, August 1st. Applications can be completed online on our school website under "Join Us" and "Student Admissions."
The public lottery will take place on Monday, August 2nd at 10:30am. Due to COVID restrictions, families are not able to attend the lottery in-person. Please send us an email to admin@valleyinquiry.org if you would like to join the lottery virtually. You do not have to attend or watch the lottery to be selected.
Notices of those students selected to join in the Fall, as well as those who are on waitlists will begin going out to families on Tuesday, August 3rd.
