Hero Run/Jog-a-thon 25-26

Hello Valley Inquiry families!

Pledge envelopes and forms for our Hero Run/Jog-a-thon are coming home in backpacks today! We are so excited for this fun event that helps support field trips and hands-on learning experiences for our students.

💡 Fundraising Details

Participation in fundraising is optional, but encouraged — every student will still participate in the run and enjoy the event, regardless of donations.

If you choose to join in the fundraising portion:

✅ Students may collect per-lap pledges or flat donations

✅ Students may ask family, friends, or trusted community members — whatever your family feels comfortable with

✅ Cash or checks are welcome

✅ Checks can be made out to VICS PTC

✅ Return donations in the envelope provided — the PTC will collect and tally them

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ How Laps Work

To ensure consistent counting and pacing for all students:

➡️ 2 laps under the covered area = 1 official Hero Run/Jog-a-thon lap

Students run at their own pace, and every effort counts!

• Pledge envelopes go home: Today 🎒

• Fundraising window: Now through November 18th
