Enrichment Opportunities
VICS students have many opportunities to explore their interests, try new things, and grow as curious, creative, and engaged learners. From inquiry-based clubs during the school day to after-school activities, choir, Student Council, and TAG, enrichment experiences help students build skills, relationships, and confidence.
Inquiry Clubs
On the first Friday of each month, PYP students gather across grade levels for Inquiry Clubs. Students in grades K–5 choose a teacher-led club based on their interests, then explore that topic alongside students from other classrooms through hands-on, inquiry-based learning.

After-School Clubs
Learning doesn’t stop when the school day ends! With after school clubs, students have the option to participate in enrichment experiences such as American Sign Language, Lego, chess, robotics, yearbook, and more. Clubs rotate several times a year to give students the chance to explore different interests.
Choir
All PYP students participate in music classes, and students in grades 3-5 also have the opportunity to join choir, which practices once a week after school. They perform for residents at a local retirement home in December and in the all-school music concert in the spring.
Student Council
Student Council members put IB attributes into action as they work together to represent their classes, contribute to the school community, and help make VICS even better through student-led projects and fundraisers.
TAG
Students who have been identified as talented and gifted (TAG) meet weekly after school for exciting STEAM challenges and other academic enrichment experiences.
